Engine Room

It was evidently grand
To think that a man could understand
A force so large but small
It holds the Universe in its thrall

It was evidently bold
To think that a human could be told
About a force so small but large
It holds the world in its charge

It was too much to presume
That a man could enter the Engine Room
And see the bright controls
That give us strength and guide our souls
